Three Card Poker Strategy

It's time to optimize your play at the table. The basic strategy in "ante" 3 poker is simple. Go for it if you got anything! Always play if you got an straight flush, three of a kind, straight, flush or a pair. Sure you may loose some hands when you got a low pair, but you got the odds in your favour. Also remember that even if you follow this strategy, the dealer may not qualify and your second bet will just push while you win your ante bet.

Bet hands that you will loose

It might sound weird, but it's true. If you got no qualifying hand in three card poker, then you shouldn't shout with joy and bet because you will loose in the long run. In fact, you will always have the odds against you. BUT since the dealer only will play queen+ hands you can win with any hand yourself. You should bet with any ace high and king high. You will loose money in the long run, but you will actually loose even more money if you don't play them at all. You should also play som queen high hands, with at least a six as the second highest card. It's not the greatest choice you have to do, in this case it's about choosing what's less worse.
